What the extension does

JobraAI Apply Assist fills in job application forms on supported career sites (Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby application pages) using information from an application you already prepared in the JobraAI web app. You always review the filled fields, attach your resume file yourself, and finish the application on the company page.

What data it stores

The extension stores exactly two values, locally on your device, using Chrome's built-in storage API:

  • The JobraAI URL you connected to.
  • A connection token (starts with jbx_) that authorizes the extension to fetch your prepared application data. This is not your account password — it only grants access to the autofill endpoint.

This data never leaves your device except when sent directly to the JobraAI URL you configured, over HTTPS, to fetch a prepared application.

What data it reads from pages you visit

On a matching application page (Greenhouse, Lever, or Ashby), the extension reads the page URL to identify the company and job posting, then requests the prepared application data for that specific job from JobraAI. It reads the page's form structure only to find the fields to fill (e.g. matching a field labeled "Email") — it does not read, log, or transmit anything else on the page, and it does not run on any site outside the career-site domains and the JobraAI app itself.

What it never does

  • It never sends an application for you.
  • It does not track your browsing activity or collect analytics.
  • It does not sell, share, or transmit your data to any third party.
  • It does not run on sites other than the career-site apply pages and JobraAI itself.

Revoking access

You can disconnect the extension at any time from JobraAI → Apply Assist → "Connect extension" → Disconnect, which immediately invalidates the token server-side. Uninstalling the extension, or clearing its storage in Chrome, removes the token from your device as well.
